A4A is working with organizations like the CDC, Human and Health Services (HHS), the Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to help inform travelers about necessary preparations for any upcoming travel. ICAO has made a Q&A available with information pertaining to states, air transport operators, and the general public about “appropriate planning and action at all levels in order to mitigate the effects of a human outbreak.” For each type of stakeholder, ICAO has outlined their regulatory framework, a plan for implementation, and a source for further information about the specific question.

AAAE Pandemic Planning Resources Center for COVID-19

AAAE has compiled a list of resources from various agencies including the CDC, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), helping inform all members of the aviation ecosystem about what they should know and be doing to continue preventing the spread of COVID-19. AAAE also created a list of contacts for the aviation community to reach out to about managing COVID-19 issues at airports.
